Five hundred years ago two young men, the 25-year-old Gonzaga and the about 30-year-old Giulio Romano, let emerge an artistic and political utopia, a cultural agenda destined to change the history of architecture and painting. Today Palazzo Te is established as a place capable of inspiring dreams, visions and creativity. A place that for five hundred years has been dedicated to “starting”.
The Cinquecentenario will be told through a vast artistic production that includes performances and residencies of music, theater and dance.
